Currently, I take 1-3 clients per month with due dates approximately 1 week apart. No more than 4 depending on the due date. The spacing is to ensure I am present at each birth.
Yes. I am an enrolled provider for Medi-Cal currently accepting Aetna, Kaiser Northern California, Health Net and Anthem Blue Cross managed care plans.
Clients who do not have Medi-Cal may be able to be reimbursed for doula services depending on their insurance company.

In the rare case that I am unable to attend a birth, my certified backup doula will be present to offer support in my place.
Yes, you can absolutely meet my back up doula. This would be arranged by request and would happen at 36 weeks, if requested.
I support the idea that the mother or birthing person allow their body to do as it was naturally designed to do. However, I‘ve seen how, in some cases, medical interventions such as an epidural have helped support a safe birth. Therefore, I support whatever decision you make for your own safety and/or comfort and will educate you about that decision so you are fully aware of all that decision may entail. This is YOUR journey.
My availability to you is determined by the service(s) you choose. Once you are my client you will have access to my calendar to schedule time with me whenever needed.
When labor begins, I will coach you by phone, text or Facetime until your contractions are strong enough to encourage you to head to the birthing place of your choice. From there, I will either meet you at your home if you decide to continue laboring there or I will meet you at your place of birth once you are in active labor.
